Thoughts beyond Oakland

On occasion I find topics to write about which don’t fit into the Back To Oakland framework. When that happens I pop over to my other blog, mark.hurty.net to reflect on those things that interest me. That blog started out as a place for me to express my thoughts during the 2008 Presidential election campaign, so there are still articles in the archive related to that season. At that time the blog was called (with no humility at all) veritas. I’ve since come to my senses and removed the pretense and just offer the content as a self titled journal of things I’m thinking about.
